Yes, i understand that. thanks.

can you tell me which P code is currently active? there are MANY evap codes

Expert:  Jake replied 1 year ago.

some can be as simple as a leaky gas cap, or a vent valve that doesn't shut. others are more difficult to diagnose and require a smoke machine to test for leaks in the lines and canister

The code that u wanted is p1138
Expert:  Jake replied 1 year ago.

Thanks, that's a swirl valve code.

Expert:  Jake replied 1 year ago.

Which is much less common code of all the evap codes, so it's a good thing you were able to supply the code.

The swirl valve is part of the lower intake assembly. usually the code indicates a part failure which requires the lower intake to be replaced.

Part from the dealer is close to like $275, plus you need the 2 gaskets for each side.

If you take it to a mechanic the labor is about 3 hours for the repair.

Essentially it's not URGENT to get this repair done right away when it comes to driveability. You may get a little worse gas mileage but the vehicle will still run normal for the most part.
