What parts did you change? Do you have a scan tool?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I cut my rotors and put new pads on. My scan tool won't power up at the port. Advance auto couldn't get theirs to power up either

All 4? Did you open the bleeders prior to pushing the caliper pistons in? Is the pedal going to the floor?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
all 4. I just popped the cap on the master before pushing them in. The pedal is very hard and does not go to the floor

Did you verify the fuses are good for the dlc?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I checked some but not sure what one is for that
Expert:  JOHN aka Eauto replied 1 year ago.

Give me a minute I'll try to pull it up and what are you using for Scanner

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have a harbor freight tool that reads obdII/can codes
Expert:  JOHN aka Eauto replied 1 year ago.

Does it have abs capabilities...most cheap code readers do not

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I just looked and it doesn't
Expert:  JOHN aka Eauto replied 1 year ago.

You will need a scan tool that will be able to access ABS codes

On cars with ABS brakes you're supposed to crack open the bleeder before pushing the caliper piston and to prevent damage to the master cylinder or ABS pump that is likely what happened

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok I thought it maybe had something to do with the electric assisted brakes. This would be the first out of many brake jobs that the bleeder would and could have caused a problem
Expert:  JOHN aka Eauto replied 1 year ago.

this happens not often but its does
