Customer Question

Hi Pete, my wife has a 2009 Nissan Murano and I am researching a brake issue that seems others have had with no concrete solution available. Her brakes went to the floor, and if you research online, it isn't due to brake fluid, air in the lines, master cylinder, pads, or anything. Called the Nissan dealer and they aren't aware of any particular issue like this... or so they say. Her mechanic doesn't want to jump to any conclusions as he's reading the same things I am in various forums about this mysterious issue

if you have no external brake fluid leak then you have one of two problems ether the master cylinder or the abs unit have an internal leak

Expert:  Clifton B. replied 1 year ago.

i would start with the master cylinder first then move on to the abs unit
