Hello I will help you with your question,

Inspect the plunger on the brake switch you find up on the shaft of the brake pedal. It rests on a plastic insert that tends to crack and fall out over time. If the plastic rest is missing from the hole in the bracket the plunger rests on any autopart store will have a selection of body retainers that you can install in the hole and restore the operation of the brake switch.
