Customer Question

I,m looking at buying a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder and all the owner said is the air conditioner doesn't work. She has no idea why. What would be worst case scenario if it all had to be replaced .it has 150,000 miles on it. Might it be simple fix

Assuming the compressor wis the most expensive component, figure about $700 parts and labor. An evaporator (inside unit) about the same. Most other parts would be less, so unless there were multiple parts damaged (unlikely) you would be less than $1000 in virtually any circumstance. Or it may just need a $150 charge and you'll be back in business.
