If you turn the Ac off, does the noise stop?
Any chance you can take a video clip of the noise so I can hear it?
I hear it. I thought I would be able to see where you are filming as well. But that is ok I guess.
If you are standing over the engine, does it sound like it's more on the passenger side towards the front?
Ok. But the engine is outside the car, not inside correct?
It could be.. I am trying to determine that..
yeah.. Move the video around also. Even go under the front of the car if you can on the passenger side..
Give me a few .. Need to take the dog for a walk.. brb. Take your time
Sorry, Hang on..
Yes I am here
got 1 hang on
I keep listening to it over and over...
Damn.. That noise is odd...
Part of me thinks it's a broke up Catt knocking around..
Just trying to determine if it's related to the AC issue...
I must be going on 10 times..... watching and listening..lol
When you hit the AC switch, does the Radiator fans kick on?
I am starting to think you may have a AC leak and lost your freon, and that the knocking may be a Broken up Catt converter.
I would love it if I can just speak with you. I am sure I can give you direction needed to resolve this..
The first thing I would say you need to have done is to recover the freon from the AC system. See how much is in there. If there isn't enough freon, the AC won't come on. If stone hit the condensor, or a o-ring let go, the freon may have escaped which is causing your AC issue.
