HI there,

Is the check engine light on?
If it is, do you know what codes are being stored?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no lights
Expert:  Mike V. replied 1 year ago.

Ok, once you get it running will it run at off idle and drive normally?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
till i come to a stop

Ok, you may have an issue with the mass air flow sensor. You can try unplugging it and see if the truck will idle on it's own. You can also check the egr valve. It's in a horrible spot on the back of the engine, but if it's sticking open, the truck will run fine off idle but will be difficult to start and won't want to idle.

Please let me know if there is any more I can do to help you from here.

Do you need further assistance with this?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no assistance needed, it took hours to get responses, not minutes

Did I resolve the issue with the truck or not?
I apologize for the delay in getting any assistance, but sometimes an expert that can help is not online. We are after all humans just like you my friend. I don't believe I should be punished by the advertising the site creates, but if you are comfortable with that, it's ok. Just would really like to know if I helped you resolve the problem with your truck.
