Clicking noise, when placing load on drivetrain, forward to reverse, vice versa, coast to throttle, etc. Sounds like LF wheel, good mechanic said CV joint seems okay. NO extra or clunking when turning. AWD 2009 Rogue, 125000 Kim's

Were the engine and transmission and exhaust mounts checked?

Given the context of the visit to the garage, an oil change and brake service, I suspect they didn't look any further than CV joints at this time.
