Hello and Welcome! I'm Billy and i will assist you with your inquiry. Feel free to ask if any further info is needed.
Did you remove the chain?
did you replace the tensioner?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i have not removed anything yet
Expert:  Billy replied 1 year ago.
Hello again,
When you install the tensioner, you should see the marks aligned.
If not, then you need to remove the chain, and re align, for that i will include the timing chain replacement process, along with the marks so you proceed as necessary (a pdf in the link):

PS: if you remove the chain, i would recommend replacing it.

on my timing, the line on the crank pully lined up with timing mark is not tdc. why?
Expert:  Billy replied 1 year ago.
Hello,
If you're referring to the outer crank pulley (the one with the drive belt), then this should not be a TDC, as this shows the ignition advance, which should be around 15 degrees offset (15 before top dead center).
If you're referring to the inner pulley with the chain on it, then this should be on time. If not, i would replace ethe chain, and time on the marks (as indicated in the details i sent before).

Billy
