Hi there, thanks for your question.
So what codes are you getting? Any?
Do you get a single spark when cranking and then it cuts?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't ave means to review codes as it is an older model. Yes, I get a single spark and the it cuts.

The engine was rebuilt and started working beautifully. on the test drive is where the engine cut off after about 15 minutes.

Thanks for clarifying as that's very important knowing what led to the issue.
So to be clear, the engine was rebuilt and stalled on the initial test drive and has not restart since?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
that is correct. I suspect a connector from a sensor or something like that, however I have checked all visible points with no luck.

areyou still there?

Yes I'm sorry I replied twice and this thing logged me out. It's not safari friendly.
If you have power to the distributor and only get the initial spark. That's generally the cam sensor or the amplifier (grey box on intake) causing the problem.
Lastly the timing could have jumped but I wouldn't worry about that just yet.

ok, thanks. I will be trying that in a short while.
