Murano: . My wife is having issues with her back-up camera

Customer Question

Hi. My wife is having issues with her back-up camera on 2009 Murano. Works intermittently and there is often static when it does work. The dealership did not know how best to fix but are suggesting replacing the control assembly module. I am trying to determine if it would make sense to try going the DYI route since the dealership is wanting to charge $650 for parts & labor. Found the part for $150 on ebay and installation appears relatively straightforward. Any feedback or help is greatly appreciated.

Greetings...... “Hi, I’m Don (akaCustomer and I look forward to helping you!”
There is a TECH Bulletin for the Relay that can cause static or INOP at times.
I can post that if you need.|
Otherwise this can be a connection issue or Internal & I would check harness forward & at rear (more likely rear, prior to replacing parts
