THE OTHER DAY WHILE DRIVING I NOTICED A IDLE PROBLEM.I PLUGGED MY SCANNER IN AND IT READ RANDOM MISSFIRE.I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE SO I DISCONNECTED EACH COIL PACK ONE AT TIME WHILE RUNNING.ONLY CYLYNDER 1,2,4 MADE A ROUGH IDLE.SO I ASSUMED IT WAS ANOTHER COIL PACK THAT WENT OUT.BOUGHT NEW ONE AND STILL THE SAME PROBLEM.THE OLD ONE HAD SPARK AS WELL AS NEW ONE.REPLACED ALL PLUGS BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THE #3 PLUG WAS FOULED.THIS I AM ASSUMING DUE TO NOT SPARKING.TESTED THE SPARK PLUG,AND NO CONDUCTNUITY.STILL THE SAME ROUGH IDLE.CODE STILL POPPING AS RANDOM MISSFIRE.ALSO THE #1 PLUG HAD OIL DOWN WHERE THE SPARK PLUG WAS.BUT WHEN DISCONNECTING COIL ROUGH IDLE.NOT THE PROBLEM.IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH #3.WHEN DISCONNECTING COIL#3 NOTHING CHANGED.BUT IT HAS SPARK.SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME MY PROBLEM. THANK YOU, CHARLES

Thanks for your question. Sorry you're having car problems. If I go off line, just leave a message and I'll be right back. DO NOT leave feedback yet. You need to check engine compression, it sounds like there is a loss in #3. Thanks, Ron

Please note: not every answer I give you is something you were hoping to hear, even though it is true, such as; (it’s more expensive than you wanted to spend, or you will need to have a professional repair shop do the diagnostics and /or repairs due to complexity reasons).

A problem in CHAT, I had to switch us to Q & A. Thanks, Ron
COULD IT BE A FOULED INJECTOR.BECAUSE THIS WAS SUDDEN
If the compression is good, then that's where I was heading next. Now if the injector is stuck open, it can be one of two things; a bad injector or a bad computer. So your next test would be to ohm the injectors and match the others against #3. Thanks again, and be sure to let me know if you need any more help. Ron
TO GET THE INJECTOR I HAVE TO REMOVE THE MANIFOLD RIGHT
It looks like it, the upper part. Ron
