How do I installe a tps on a Nissan maxima and set the correct voltage.?I'm getting code p1122 p0223 p2135
Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.com
All of those codes are related to the electronic throttle chamber.
To correct this the whole throttle chamber assembly needs to be replaced and a idle relearn performed
to correct your problem.
Some things you can't go by.
On of the codes is for the Throttle motor
So you could have a TPS code since the throttle motor is inop
I never see a harness issue on this
It's almost always the throttle chamber
I suggest you get a new complete throttle chamber assembly and perform a manual idle relearn to resolve your problem
The P1122 which is Electronic Throttle function code is related to the throttle motor. This is most likely the cause of the other TPS sensor codes cause it's calling for a voltage signal, and the throttle motor can't move to have the correct voltage sent. That is what causes that code
You have another throttle chamber? other than the one that is on the car? Do you know if it's good?
1 sec plz
That won't work
You have to do the idle relearn after you replace it
I can give you the manual steps to perform this
but if you can't get it, then it will need to be done with a scanner
Let me know if you want the manual steps.
That is the accelerator pedal position relearn
give me a min
Those are the steps to perform a manual idle relearn
You got it
