hi the next thing to do is to get the car scan for codes , this will tell you the problem circuit in the car, there are so many reason for that light to be on that the only real way to tell hey the light is on is to scan for codes , but the most likely cause of the light on this car base on what i have see is a bad vent control valve , so check the codes if you get a code for a evap leak replace the vent control valve and reset the light

yes you should be able to do it your self , there is one bolt holding the canister in located in the back left side inner fender , remove the bolt up the canister down and the valve is on top just turn it to get it out unplug it and install the new one , the parts will run you about $120 at the dealer .
