hi the problem will be the pressure switch on the drier i have seen a few go bad
it is on the condenser drivers side you will have to remove the clips on top of the front bumper and pull it back to see it
New pressure switch came in today, was not expecting the high pressure blast of green oily stuff, what is it? What next? Did i drain the system of freon?
yes you did drain is system , now you will need to get it vacuum and refill you will need an ac machine for this ,

I have replaced the pressure switch and taken it to the auto shop to have the freon system recharged and it still doesn't work! I've spent $200 and still no cold air...what next??
i think the 225psi that you say you have is too hight, don't know what it is now, i like to see it on this car at about 150 high and 30 to 45 low , but there are also 4 computer in the a/c system any one of them can be at fault , i know you don't have the tools /scan tool needed to do this , but the next thing would be to monitor the a/c on signal in the ecm, bcm, ipdmer, and the a/c amp computer to first see what computer do not have an on signal , and also monitor the pressure switch signal , at this point i think you should take it to the shop and stop spending money you don't have to; if you ask me this is too much for someone with out the right tool .i know its not what you wanna hear but that is whats next
What next?
you need to take it some where that have a scan tool that can read data and check the signal i list above
Would have been real helpful to mention that when you removed the pressure switch you would be blasted in the face with freon,,,,starting all over after spending over 200 dollars
you did not ask how to replace the switch or told me then you was going to replace it ,
