Nissan/Datsun Rogue SL: The blower fan in my 2008 Rogue stays

This answer was rated:

The blower fan in my 2008 Rogue stays on high all the time. The dial will not turn it off or go to a lower speed. (it only turns off when the key is turned off)
thanks for the help

Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.com

Jay :

On your air controller does it say Auto on there at all?

Jay :

Sorry, Rouge.. they didn't have auto air. Only Manual air.

Jay :

The problem is the Blower motor amp.

Jay :

This is what controls blower motor operation.

Jay :

When it fails, it can either not turn the blower motor on at all, or the blower motor will stay on high like your describing.

Jay :

There is a image on where it's located.

Jay :

You will need to remove the glove box to access it to remove it and replace it.

Jay :

If you have any more questions on this, please feel free to ask. Thanks Jay!

Jay :

opps, sorry, it's on the drivers side. I am thinking versa..

Jay :

That is how you replace it.

Jay :

Thanks Jay!

It looks fairly simple...It's funny you mention Versa as I owned a Versa before the Rogue.

Jay :

Jay :

So many models, sometimes I think wrong models cause I just remember replacing a part. hehe

Jay :

that is why I double checked.

Jay :

If your fairly handy, it's not bad at all to replace.
