hi, this sounds like you have a distributor that is going bad this will cause the problems your having and may not set a code , you should remove the cap and the coil from the distributor and check for broken part in the bottom of the unit . if you see debree replace the unit .
it has a brand new distributer now. its less than 10k miles old. napa brand.
that don't mean its not bad you need to check it please.
i took the distributer apart, didnt notice anything broken or abnormal. it drives somewhat normal until i take it on the highway. after 30 minutes or so the kicking starts. then when i get off the highway and go towards the house it gets really bad. seems like something has to heat up just right?
scan to see if you have any code even thou you don't have any service engine light on.
NO CODES, i have a scanner.
sorry this one you will need to take to a shop it need diag i will opt out maybe someone els can help .
