Defroster not working properly, blowing air, do have heat..window

This answer was rated:

Defroster not working properly, blowing air, do have heat - condenstation on all widows inside, did defrost right side of window a little, but thats it. What can be the problem?

If there is condensation on the inside of the windshield that means the heater core is leaking.

Do you know what that is?

I'm still waiting for an answer

It's like a little radiator that sits inside the heater box under the dash. Engine coolant (antifreeze) goes through it and air is blown across it to produce the heat and when it gets a pin hole leak, it allows steam from the coolant into the air ducts and leaves that condensation film on the windshield.

It will need to be replaced and it calls for 5.2 hours labor. So depending on how much the shop in your area charges, will determine the labor. The part cost right around $300 so both combined is going to add up real quick.
