Jim Barlogio :

The marks will line up every other revolution of the crank.. Hope that helps you ... Jim

Customer :

can you tell me exactly how to set timing marks

Jim Barlogio :

Let me get that for you... They are a little tedious... ... Jim

Jim Barlogio :

I can give you the basics but I can not give you experience.... Need to know what you have done so far? What caused you to do a chain repair? Noise, chain worn out.. broken?

replaced head gasket

Jim Barlogio :

OK.. Have you looked at the info I sent? Basically is keeping the cam's lined up.. once they are lined up turn the engine over one or twice by hand and double check the timing marks. Jim
