Jay :

Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.com

Jay :

When you turn the key to the ON position, does all the lights come on as they should?

Customer:

Initially yes. When I attempted to start the vehicle for the second time... no lights whatsoever.

Jay :

Does the head lights come on?

Customer:

First attemt yes... afterwards no lights at all... interior or exterior.

Jay :

Your sure the head lights don't turn on correct?

Customer:

No lights at all.

Jay :

Ok, then most likely you may have a poor battery connection. Try this.

Customer:

constant clicking at or near the ignition switch after key is removed.

Jay :

turn the head lights on. Then loosen and wiggle the battery terminals one at a time. If you see the lights flicker or come on when doing this, then you know it a bad connection

Jay :

?

Jay :

Constant clicking?

Jay :

The head lights should turn on even if you have a after market alarm causing this.

Jay :

Go give this a try and let me know what happens. Then come back and let me know.

Customer:

yes... after the key is removed from the ignition.... clicking noise is heard coming from steering column near ignition switch

Customer:

will do.... thanks and I'll get back to you.

Jay :

Yeah, I will be here for another hour. So don't worry. I will be here

Jay :

I am here, how did you make out?
