2005 Nissan Titan: you remove the whole headlamp assembly..bumper

how do you remove the whole headlamp assembly on a 2005 Nissan Titan XE. Do you have to remove the bumper?

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL



  1. Remove the grille. Refer to "Removal and Installation".

marcpod :

  1. Remove the front bumper filler panel.

  2. Disconnect the connector.

  3. Remove the 4 headlamp mounting bolts.


INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Torque: 6.0 Nm (0.61 kg-m, 53 in-lb)

  1. Release plastic clips and remove front grille.

  2. Remove LH and RH front bumper filler panels.


Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Is removing the grill and filler panel pretty straight forward? I am fairlt mechanically inclined. Headlights on my GMC are so simple but my son has ti

Let me know my friend. these are in jpegs just print them out. If you have a opld fork bent them middle prongs outward this will help you when you pull the grill out ,,,, Yes just pull out firmly same thing for the filler panels as they call them

My sons titan is a little more difficult.

witht he old fork just get the clips loose and then pull out.

So the bumper cover does not need to be removed just the grill and filler panels?

No you do not need to remove the bumper.
