What would cause my brake lights to stay on? 99 Frontier

HI!

When this happens the brake switch by the pedals could be bad or not pushed in all the way the brake lights will stay on there is also a plastic stopper for the brake switch could be missing then switch will stay on , I would start with the switch inspection , Thanks let me know if you have any more questions, ROY!

where can i get the plastic stopper at?

HI!

If missing you can make something to put in hole like a plastic clip pin for trim or the dealer can order the stopper for you , Thanks let me know if you have more questions, ROY!
