Is it the factory immobilizer system or an aftermarket one?

Hi My Name isXXXXX you for using Just Answer.com

No the factory security system will not allow the car to crank. Are you sure you have a g37 because they did not make them in 2oo7.

yea my bad it is a 2008 in looking at getting. but yea i push the button and everything sounds good but doesnt start. i was just wondering if it was maybe a common problem with those infinities or if i should just go through like the basics as in fuel filter and pump, fuses and plugs?

No its not very common. It may be flooded, Try holding your floor to the floor on the gas hold the brake as well and push the start button. Let the car crank over a few times and then try to start it normally.

I would check for spark and then fuel pressure. You may have gotten bad tank of gas too.
