What is the actual problem you are having?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Car won't start. Took the battery and alternator to AutoZone to be tested... both check out fine. They said it could be the starter or ignition. We were able to jump start the car, but without jumping it there is just a click noise (singular) and then nothing. All the periphials work in the car, but not starting. I purchased the starter and unhooked the two leads that attach on the underside as well as the wiring clip. I've read that taking off the airfilter is the easiest way to get to the starter, but not seeing how that helps.

Ok this might not be a starter issue. Was the battery checked under a load?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

yes, it was tested at autozone and they put a load on it using a battery tester

Expert:  Tom replied 6 years ago.
Ok lets hope its the starter let me post the directions.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

thank you. XXXXX go through all the trouble and it's not the starter then I will just have to put the old one back on and return this new one to the store. When they tested it under a load, the voltage went from 12.5 to 10.2ish. With the battery in the car and turning the key, our digital multimeter reads a drop from 12.5 to 12.3.

Where will the directions be posted?

This diagram isn't quite like my car... I see a plate that is blocking me from getting to the starter though. I believe taking the plate off will expose the bolts I need to take off. I will accept your answer because it (combined with free info I found on the internet) has allowed me to figure it out
