Hi does the car turn over properly as it always did, or does turn like timing is off a bit [ turns Ok then sputters, turns slower then catches] Have you check proper operation of battery and alternator. Check starter draw.

Hi are there any codes stored in any control unit, also while cranking is the security lite on or off. Have you checked the ground circuit from trans to engine to battery. What is fuel pressure while cranking when it doesn't start. When it does start, how does it run- at idle and highway. What type of diagnosis equip do you have - scope

Hi can you check voltage drop at the ecu will cranking when difficult to start, why I am saying this is because on this particular car there have been lots of cases where while cranking, the starting circuit is drawing too much voltage, thus 12v not available at the ecu to function properly. Secondly, check output on the crank sensors[ pattern on scope] and compare with cam sensor readings.Another thing to check mass air flow can you change it like you changed the sensors from another car
