Nissan does not place any kind of maintenace interval on timing chains. This is largely due to the fact that a timing chain system is severely impacted by how well an engines oil change maintenance was done. Basically in regards XXXXX XXXXX timing chain if your engine sounds ok then your timing chain i likely fine. This is especially true if you change your oil in a timely manner such as every 3k miles. I have seen many timing chains exceed 300k miles and some that have failed in 20k miles as a result of not having the engine oil changed and the engine becoming sludged.
