What wires do you connect a performance chip to on iat sensor

How many wires are on the chip? Did it come with instructions and what does it say? Thanks

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
There a red and black wire on the chip. On the sensor there is a white, brown, red, black, and red/black wire. The instructions just said to plug it into the IAT Sensor. But i did not no what wires they were on the sensor. Hope this helps

The iat on this vehicle is a 2 wire sensor built into the mass air flow sensor. The black wire going to the sensor is a ground and the Red/black wire is the signal wire you have to splice into. There is also a brown and white wire that go into the mass air flow sensor "which the iat is built into": So from the sounds of it you would just want to match up the colors of the wires and splice into them at the mass air flow sensor. You may also have to unplug the mass air flow sensor/iat and plug this chip into the harness to bypass sensor completely. You would want to verify this with your chip manufacture. Here are the wire daigrams, let me know if you have questions. Thanks
