Hi -

What is the engine temperature when the fans stays on?
Does the fan stay on after you turn off the engine?

When I replaced the radiator fan it would not come on. I called the local nissan dealer and they told me to change the sensor which I did. It still did not come on after letting the engine warm up so I unplugged it while the engine was running to check the connection.

When I plugged it back in it started to work. Now it works whenever the motor is running;hot or cold. I should not say hot because it doesn't warm up now.

Ok.. Did some research here. Some possibilities. 1. There maybe a short to ground on the ground side of fan motor 2. or Is the A/C or defrost on the HVAC system?
3. There could be a short in the high pressure switch of the A/C system telling the on-board computer to ground out the fan relay(s) turning the fan on.
Attached is a copy of the schematic.
