MY 2004 Nissan Maxima check engine light is on. I brought it to a local autozone and a toubleshooting code of P0780 OEM Brand OBDII came up and the PCM has detected a malfunction in the transmission . What does this code mean and how do I repair it.

Already Tried:
Brought the car to a local autozone and they plugged in computer. Troubleshooting OEM Number to Cross: P0780.
Their computer came up woth Troubleshooting P0780 OEM Brand OBDII - The PCM has detected a malfunction in the transmission shifting. What does that mean and how do I fix it?

04 Maxima did not use this code. Are you sure that is the right number?

That is the number that came up...The readout says exactly this:

OEM Number to Cross P0780...

Troubleshooting P0780 OEM Brand: Acura then definition...

then Troubleshooting P0780 P0780 OEM Brand OBDII

Troubleshooting P0780 OEM BRand: General_Motors then a definition

 

This is all that is on the readout paper that they gave me.

Ok my bad, i was looking in the wrong area and my quick reference wasn't showing it. Your gonna need consult II to really pin point the issue but here is what i got for you.
