my 2002 pathfinder a/c quit working the blower motor has lost its ground
do you have auto A/C or manual?
manual will have a fan speed dial of 1-2-3-4.
auto, will have a button with "auto" on it.
auto
here is a technical bullitin. if the system operates on high speed and there is no other speed, then the resistor is bad, it is recomended that you replace the blower motor along with the resistor.

what about the reostat? the controls will not work at all
the reostat controls the lighting.
I am not so sure I know what your talking about.
Maybe you are speaking of the resistor in the bullitin? the resistor is what changes the fan speed by changing the resistance. that is what I am telling you is bad. what causes it to go bad is the blower motor itself. that is why I recomended this bullitin, it tells you all that.
