My 2011 M37X wouldn't start. Then a Key warning light came

Customer Question

My 2011 M37X wouldn't start. Then a Key warning light came on, and now it is completely dead.
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: The key warning light that appears in the panel by the speedodmeter
JA: Are you fixing your M37x yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have tried holding the key to the start button, jumping the vehicle with another vehicle and changing the battery in the keys because someone said the keys could be the problem.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Yes I had an oil change the day before and a battery check and tire rotation and the battery was fine. Drove it home, parked it, and then when I came out to leave the next day, all of this happened.
