Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.

The AC system is usually designed to shut off when the engine overheats, The air you say spray out was likely due to the cooling system being low on coolant . Once you are sure you have the leak sealed and your not loosing coolant any more then you are going to need to refill the cooling system and be sure you have no trapped air. Once its full run the engine and see if the problem is resolved. If its not, post back with the year and model of your Infiniti and we can work from there.
