Hello. What is your question? I'll do what I can to help.
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I need to refill the transmission fluid in my 2011 Infiniti ex35 and there is no dipstick tube to add new ATF
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Is there a way to use the line that goes to the oil cooler?
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
You will need to add fluid through the overflow drain plug hole using a charging pipe.
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
There is no other way?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Does that require some kind of pump?
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
I am unaware of another way to fill it. FLUID CHANGING PROCEDURE
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
it does require a pump. It's a hand pump.
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Does anyone else carry this charging pipe besides the dealer?
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
We use a hose on the end of the pump. The pump is a 5.00 pump you get from napa.
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
I don't even know where to get the "charging pipe" they specify. just a rubber hose will do it as well.
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Where can I find the oring that fits into the drain plug?
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
Your drain plug seal should be ok. If it's not though, napa or any other auto parts store will have a replacement seal for the drain plug. As far as the "charging pipe", just use a piece of rubber hose on the spout of the hand pump. The hand pump comes with some hose on it but it probably won't be long enough so get a couple feet of rubber hose as well.
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I'm talking about the fitting that goes from the rubber hose into the drain plug. Would Napa carry that?
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
Most important though is to make sure that you use the correct fluid. Nissan matic fluid S. if S is not available then you can use J
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
They might sell an adapter that will fit into that threaded opening, but I would not worry about that. Just get the end of the hose fitted into the opening and pump the fluid slowly. It'll be ok.
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Does Napa carry the Nissan matic fluid?
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
That you will most likely have to get straight from Nissan. We always get it from Nissan and we always use nissan fluid in nissan vehicles.
Expert:  AZTechBrian replied 7 months ago.
actually, I got a case of it off Ebay once. It was quite a bit cheaper. If you can wait, check Ebay.
