Hi my name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist with this today. In some cases I may need more info to assist better.I apologize for any delay. I see 2 recalls on this year and model here: MAKE/MODELS: MODEL/BUILD YEARS: Infiniti/FX35 2003-2006 Infiniti/FX45 2003-2006 Infiniti/G35 2003-2004 Nissan/350Z 2003-2004 MANUFACTURER: Nissan North America, Inc. NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 05V555000 MFG'S REPORT DATE: November 28, 2005 COMPONENT: Fuel System, Gasoline POTENTIAL NUMBER OF UNITS AFFECTED: 192659 SUMMARY: On certain passenger and sport utility vehicles, the fuel filler hose may crack from exposure to ozone. This could cause the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) in the instrument panel to come on as a result of the onboard diagnostic system detecting a leak in the evaporative emission control system. Fuel leakage from the hose while refueling could also occur. CONSEQUENCE: Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire. Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel filler hose. The recall is expected to begin on February 13, 2006. Owners should contact Nissan at 1-***-***-**** or Infiniti at 1-***-***-****. NOTES: Customers can also contact The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-***-***-**** (TTY 1-***-***-****), or go to http://www.safercar.gov. AND DEFECT: On certain sedan and coupe vehicles, the brake stop lamp switch may malfunction. If this occurs, the brake lamps will not illuminate when the brake is applied, which could result in a crash. REMEDY: Dealers will replace the brake lamp switch. The manufacturer has reported that owner notification began June 30, 2003. Owners may contact Infiniti at 1-***-***-****. If more help is needed, use the reply tab to continue our conversation. If no further assistance is needed, kindly rate my service. You can rate at any time and we can continue to work on your question as this will not close out your question.Keep in mind in some cases it can be difficult to fully diagnose or help repair your vehicle without seeing it and I work on delivering the best possible answer from what I see to work with. Thanks Pete
