My 1996 Infiniti I30 keeps stalling when idling. I have taken it in but they are telling me it is not sending any codes and cannot duplicate it. it has 102,000 miles on it.

Has the Throttle chamer and base idle been set? Does it stall as you are coming to a stop? or just while your standing still?

usually standing still. the tech said you can't change the idle. everything is computerized now.

Go somewhere eles! Idle adjustment is part of basic maintaince on this car. It should be done every 30k. The throttle chamber gets very dirty and will cause the idle to drop.

I would first try a throttle chamber cleaning. This is basic maintenance that should be done every 30k.
