Customer Question

Last week my work presented a proposal to disestablish my job come November. They offered an alternative position that simply wont work for my families needs. The proposal is under a 1 month consultation period but regardless of the outcome to change or not I would like to accept redundancy and go. Can i insist on taking redundancy now and not wait?

You would generally need to go through the consultancy process, but there is no harm in suggesting that you could simply take the redundancy and resign now. They may welcome this to save the time spent on consultancy
