Customer Question

I am going on holiday to the UK and Spain, taking my daughter (13).
My partner wants me to sign , before he gives permission, the I CARE Foundation's
International Travel Child Consent Form.
Is there any reason why I should not sign this ?

I havent seen this used in New Zealand before and was trying to look at the form, although the website with the form is down. Normally you do need consent for the child to travel overseas, and written consent is best. When I see the form I will look at it and confirm if this is acceptable under New Zealand law

The sites which host the form are all down so its hard to say. All he needs to do under New Zealand law is to give you a letter saying he gives permission. If you have the form he is suggesting you could attach this, but anonymise it so the names cannot be read.
