Can you make a court judgement on the same debt twice? If the original judgement is over 5 years old should the 2nd judgment show on your credit record?

The second judgment if entered on the same debt would be flawed and could be set aside if there is already a judgment based on that debt. That would be double dipping and therefore an abuse of process.

So the credit re4cord would be incorrect and you would be entitled to as for this to be corrected under the privacy principles of the Privacy Act
