Hi Çhris am I able to file for bankruptcy in New Zealand from Australia? I came to Aus to work, pay my debts but have been here for 1 year and am worse off now than when I came over.. Deeper in debt, about to lose my home in NZ, can you help

You can file online for bankruptcy in New Zealand from Australia. You need to fill out the form and they will then contact you. Your first step is to complete the statement of affairs. This sets out all your debts and assets, and if they have further questions they will then ask you. Once this is done, there is not much more, and you the wait three years and then get discharged with the debts written off.
