just returned a vehicle it was fine but now the owner is claiming the the engine maybe blown.. Hes threatning to take me to court? any help would be appreciated

If you borrow a vehicle from someone you are liable for any damage. But they must be able to prove you did the damage. So if you returned the vehicle in good condition the burden of proving the damage was done by you is up to him.
