Kia ora My question is how do you find a lawyer or someone

Customer Question

Kia ora My question is how do you find a lawyer or someone that can assist you with contracts. When i believe the contracts have under estimated the scope of works. And that the CEO of that company is bullying a contractor. Is there a place that contractors can go to to get good advice?

There is an industry body who represents contractors which is the Contractors Federation at http://nzcontractors.co.nz/

But you may need a lawyer experienced in construction law and I cxould suggest some names if you want. In the Waikato there are some good lawyers who could help such as this firm http://whitfieldbraun.nz/

You havent stated specifically if your problem is construction law, but the principles are similar for contractors in other areas, and so the lawyers would be able to help.
