my neighbours bank of evergreen trees is now so high and on my north, sunny boundary that for months during winter my garden gets no sun.what can I do?
Already Tried: I am afraid to approach her myself as we have fallen out over her dogs and a fencing issue! This is a result of her constructing a boundary fence (there used to be a hedge)without following the necessary steps then expecting me to pay $2ooo without quotes, invoices or consultation. Since our last interaction ,during which I was verbally abused ,I have been loathe to raise the tree issue.

Hi There is a procedure under the Property Law Act for making an application to the District Court for trees to be trimmed or cut down in a case like yours. If you show the trees are shading your property, this will usuallyean you can force her to trim the trees. If she is already off side with you then this may be easier than approaching her.
