How do I go about applying for joint custody of my children?
Hi Welcome to JustAnswer. My first response will follow shortly. Please feel free to follow up if anything is not clear
You can start by seeing if this can be negotiated in discussions with your former partner. If this does not work you can try using the family court mediation service. If this does not work then you would need to go to court. You need to prepare an application for the Family Court with evidence in support ready in the form of affidavits. Most use a lawyer for this, and if you are not working you may get legal aid.
