I have been accused by Housing Corp of something I did not do and face eviction. I do not know the people (2) who have laid the complaint. I live in a large tenanted building where many are disrespectful and have complained re constant noise from the tenants above however have never done what I am being accused of. I do not have any cash reserves, am on a sickness benefit and have lived here happily until recently for 12 years. I do not know where to turn to for help.
Hi Welcome to JustAnswer. My first response will follow shortly. Please feel free to follow up if anything is not clear
When there is a tenancy dispute with any landlord you can ask the Tenancy Tribunal to set up a mediation to try to resolve this problem. The Housing Corporation must agree to a mediation and this is not expensive and usually solves the problem. There are no lawyers invoolved and the mediator will be neutral and try to sort this out. You should tell the Housing Corporation you want to mediate this, and they will apply to the Tenancy tribunal
