I have purchased a vehicle VW Passat motion 4 2002 from Ezybuy Car Auction - it was not done as per normal Auction as they have a showroom and you purchase off the floor. Anyway this was doneon the 10/06/2012 that evening I found the petrol gauge was not working amount a few other things. I thought this would be small so I took it in as the service light kept coming on and beeping. I received a bill from Service European Ltd for $689.69 and a list of work that needs doing a.s.a.p. i.e. 2 back tyres required head lights Engine Mount 2 boot struts which will cost close to a further $1000.00 what are my right in claiming this from Ezybuy.
Already Tried: Ezybuy have told me that they do not repair vehicles and the car was purchased as seen.

When you buy at an auction, you do not have the same rights as if you buy off the floor. In this case you did buy off the floor. I am not sure if this company is a licensed motor vehicle dealer. If they are, then you have a good remedy in the Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal, which is a specialised tribunal for car dealers and their customers. They have an experienced lawyer as the adjudicator, and a car expert who sits with them as an assessor. So if the dealer is refusing to pay, and this was not an auction, you can take them to the tribunal.
