What is classed as a relationship? If you stay 4 days with your partner per week at his home and 3 days at your own does this mean that you are legally entitled to a share of his property after a period of time?Thank you

If you are in a permanent relationship with this person, and have been together for at least three years, and the property where you stay with him belongs to him, then you would have a claim under the Property Relationships Act.
Of course, if he stays with you in your property, he could have a cross-claim. But if you keep your own property separate and he has nothing to do with it, then he would have no claim. With his property, it would help if you help with the overheads such as the mortgage, and also jointly bought food together and looked after the furnishings jointly.
This is why many in this position enter a contracting out agreement to avoid such claims.
