Five weeks post op for a meniscus tear. They removed 2/3s of

Customer Question

Five weeks post op for a meniscus tear. They removed 2/3s of my medial meniscus and a loose body. My recovery as been going well, with minimal pain, except today. While walking (less than 1 mile) today, I started having a quick, sharp pain in my knee, near the knee cap on the inner side. It's happened about six times now, strongly enough to make me cry out. Is this normal or is something else going on? Am I expecting/doing too much?
