My chest was injured when I weight bench pressed too much

Customer Question

My chest was injured when I weight bench pressed too much weight 7 years ago. The pain has gotten really bad on the left side of my chest and i was told by my doctor it was costochondritis but nothing fixed it that he recommended. Steroids and calcium prorate did not fix the problem and neither did chiropractic. When I push on the areas they feel very bruised and the cartilage or muscle is broken and moves away from the pressure and hurts. It feels like clumps of something and they move like. Knuckle. What does this mean and how do I fix it?
