Hello !

Are you depressed ?

You may benefit to consult a neurologist for evaluation ...

On the other hand the feeling agitated may be best addressed to see a psychiatrist and review what is going on emotionally...

The sense of agitation alone would lead me to say more benefit to see a psychiatrist but as you ALSO feel your memory is affected then I think more evaluation by a neurologist is needed ...

I think some work up with blood work is indicated ( thyroid function, electrolytes , B12, inflammatory markers )

An MRI of the brain may be of help to your case

I hope that this information is helpful for you

Let me know if you have further questions or concerns

I will be happy to get back with you

If my answer is helpful and to your satisfaction then please remember to leave positive feedback

Thank you and Best Regards,

Hello again,

The sense of agitation I think may benefit from medicine to help stabilize your mood ... A psychiatrist would be best to help you with that ..a number of Rx options may be of help ...

It seems unlikely to relate to the head injury at age 5 if you have not had any other symptoms since that time ...

I suggest start and review this history with a psychiatrist ( this specialist is also an MD and may order an MRI of brain as well )

I hope that this is helpful for you

Let me know if you have other questions or discussion...

I will be happy to get back with you

Take care !
