Chronic hiccups often could be because of Phrenic nerve irritation , and nerve injury is least likely the cause of Hiccups .

Other medical conditions like Kidney dysfunction , Gastric distention , Gall stones can cause Chronic hiccups .

So before labelling nerve being cause of
